Safety First

Always make sure your fire pit is on a stable, non-flammable surface before positioning your Heat Deflector and lighting your fire. Before lighting the fire, make sure to position your Heat Deflector correctly, with its legs sitting in the grooves at the base of your flame ring. Never remove the Heat Deflector from your fire pit while hot without using high-heat resistant gloves, otherwise wait for it to cool down. Keep flammable materials a safe distance from your fire pit at all times. Never leave it unattended while in use.
